Bonda

Bonda G4 performs a vital function as a primer when bonding fibreglass to wood, metal and concrete. Apply to clean, dry and well prepared surfaces and leave until finger tacky then apply polyester resin and glassfibre. Consumption on wood or concrete 200g/ m2. Metal 100g / m2. Also, when applied to wood as a continuous film it forms a non-porous plastic coating which is tough and flexible. Apply 3 coats consumption approx 500g /m2 for all 3 coats.

G4 Thinners is suitable for all G4 Sealants and 15 Year White.

Our sealants are ready for use. When treating dense or oily woods or dense concrete the addition of thinners is recommended for the first coat. Stir thoroughly.

Treating Wood - Dense and closely grained woods do not allow deep penetration and should be well sanded to provide a good mechanical key. New teak, mahogany and other oily woods need to be thoroughly sanded. To assist penetration the first coat can be thinned with 20% (by volume) of G4 thinners.

Dense Concrete - Our sealants are not advised for use on very dense or non-porous concrete.

Cleaning Equipment - it is possible to use G4 thinners for cleaning brushes but it is not as effective Bondacleaner or Acetone.

Bonda Seal Clear has the following uses.  For sealing all surfaces with a clear, non-yellowing  U.V. light stable non-porous-seal.  For transparent wood finishes - all types of timber flooring, wall and ceiling coverings, boats and furniture, impregnation of masonry, concrete, asbestos, cement and stone floors, coating of metal surfaces, to prevent chemical and airborne contamination, to retain the appearance of finished surfaces, preventing oxidation and tarnishing of metal.
