Cleaners and Additives

A light oil for cleaning and protection of masts, wires and metal fittings. Alu Protect Mast Oil is a special product for cleaning and protecting masts, booms and various rigging fittings made of aluminium. It contains a silicone-free oil with excellent penetration into aluminium, this ensuring extremely long term protection.

Hempel Anti-Skid Pearls can be added to all types of paint where a non-slip surface is required. Recommended quantites for a 750ml can of paint: Deck Paint - 40g, Multicoat, Polygloss and Brilliant Enamel - 80g

HEMPEL'S CLEAN AND SHINE 69003 is a concentrated wash and wax that cleans and leaves a protective film in one application. Area of use: For removal of dirt, grime, UV light degraded surface layers and other common contaminants on gelcoat, painted and varnished surfaces, leaves a protective wax film after use.

Hempel Gelcoat Cleaning Powder is a strong, fine abrasive cleaning powder for tough stains. It is recommened for removing tough deposits, stains and yellowing on gelcoat surfaces. Removes hull discolouration from soil deposits in fresh water and is particularly suitable for cleaning large areas such as non-slip decks where dirt accumulates. Sold in 750g tubs.

Hempel Pre-Clean is a high strength cleaner and degreaser detergent to remove dirt, oil, grease and wax. For pre-cleaning and degreasing gelcoat, painted and varnished surfaces to remove fuel, oil, grease, wax and silicone. User prior to painting and for deep cleaning. Comes in a 1 litre bottle.

HEMPEL'S PROFAIR 35290 is a light weight two-component, epoxy filler with good adhesion and water resistance. Easy to sand when fully cured. Suitable on glass fibre, hardwood, steel and other rigid materials. For interior and exterior use above and below the waterline. Sold as 1kg (two separate 500g tins) Features: 1: As a filler and fairing compound for profiling large areas. 2: For detailed fairing where structural strength and flexibility is required. 3: Can be applied to a film thickness up to 25 mm without sagging.

Surface Cleaner Degreaser is a concentrated, water soluble cleaning and degreasing agent for the removal of grease, oil, wax and silicones from heavily contaminated plastic surfaces above and below the waterline. Use Surface Cleaner Degreaser before waxing and painting. Biodegradable. Instructions for use: Dilute with fresh water 1:50 for ordinary cleaning, 1:10 for more demanding cleaning tasks. Apply by brush or low pressure spray, leave on for approximately 15 minutes. Wash the surface and rinse with plenty of fresh water until clean. Store frost free.

Hempel Teak Cleaner is a cleaning powder for teak. Harmless to glass fibre, painted or varnished surfaces. Avoid contact with stainless steel. Area of use - For cleaning teak. Especially suited for large areas like decks.

Hempel Teak Oil is based on alkyd resin and drying oils with low viscosity. Good penetration ability and weather resistance. Contains antimould agents. Area of use - As a wood treatment oil on new teak and teak previously treated with oil based products, interior and exterior. Not suited for varnished wood.
