Vinyguard Silvergrey 88 is a quick drying, modified single pack vinyl primer / tie coat for most applications above and below the waterline.

It is very water resistant and recommended to use as a tie coat or as a sealer to an unknown or unsound antifouling / paint system.

Vinyguard can be used as a primer / touch up primer under Alkyd and acrylic coatings for wood and steel. Available in both silvergrey colour and red-toned colour.

The red-toned is ideal for when you are applying more than one coat of Vinyguard to your vessel as it will easily highlight what has already been painted and what needs to be painted.

Finish: Flat gloss
Coverage: 4.8m² per litre using brush or roller
Application: Brush, roller, conventional spray, airless spray
Thinners: Jotun Thinners No. 7
Suitable for: Steel, Wood (Also tiecoat on Penguard HB for GRP and Aluminium)
